Few days back I got my first Serama egg. Haven't had one since.

One way of telling who is laying is to look at their vents. If it is stretched out looking, most likely they have laid. Powdery could be from dirt. If one of my hens has a dust bath before laying the egg is powdery.
A few of mine have... Erm... Laying bums. Toastie's belly looked more puffy earlier, and now it's flat. So maybe she's my mystery nugget producer. 😅

Butt nugget #2 arrived! Idk who's laying them! They get grumpy if I stay with them now, so I leave and when I come back, BOOM! butt nugget on the ground. 😅😅😅

The second nugget is a bit powdery... Like they rolled it through the food powder in their run...🤔
They don’t have a nest to lay eggs?

They have 5 that I've kept nice and clean and full of comfy stuff; they have easy access to them and have been exploring them, but these 2 eggs were laid in the run. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Have you tried using some fake eggs to lure them in? Golf balls even work.

I have some fake eggs sitting in the nests already. I'm thinking the coop may just not be cool enough for them; the inside gets pretty hot during the daytime. When the temps get above 85 they get an AC put in, but the highest it's reached here this week is 83.

My brother said that some chickens just like to be left alone while they're laying, and since the whole flock has been deciding to hold daily 'town meetings' inside, then the girls may be choosing instead to come outside to have their alone time.
