Yeah. We have blue metallic mud daubers here as well as black ones. Same idea. Just tarantula hawks choose bigger prey.

Interesting. Both of them are icky.

The ones we have here in the states are annoying but not dangerous unless you're allergic. Even then it's really just bark scorps you have to be careful of (and of course that's the most common one in AZ). I'll take a scorpion over a black widow every time.

But that sting IS annoying.

At least they eat other pests.

I made a deal with all the spiders and scorps. They stay outside, they have free range of the yard and all the tasty pests. But if they set foot inside the house they're toast.

What other pests do they eat? They’re slacking whatever it is. I have plenty of pests plus scorpions. They come in the house now and then. We don’t name them though.

My one sister works at a dog and cat boarding/daycare facility. This dog came in for daycare today. Anyone know the breed? It's my absolute favorite dog breed and I've never seen one in real life. I'm so jealous she got to meet this guy
