At this point, I just have to laugh. The last couple hours have not gone well for me.
I was out running errands when my husband called and asked me to bring him a couple of boards he needed for a job. He also asked me to bring him another cocoa and get milk on my way back.
I'll confess I was feeling grouchy about it because it was already past the Naptime slot for the kids and they were getting whiny, but I got the boards, made the cocoa, and left.
I asked my daughter to keep her hand on the thermos on the way there because the cup holders are too large for it and I didn't have a lid for it. Didn't want it to spill everywhere.
She did a great job until we were two minutes away and then she removed her hand right as I took a sharp turn. The very hot cocoa went all over one of my legs. Very, very hot.
Of course, it was an accident and my daughter was about to freak about when she saw me get burned, so I didn't get angry or anything. Thankfully we had some napkins in the glovebox to sop up most of what was on my seat.
We got to the house where my husband was replacing windows and we find out I brought the wrong boards. 🤦‍♀️
Got the kids home and to bed and I put the last piece of leftover pizza in the convection oven as a late lunch for myself.
I accidentally selected bake instead of reheat. I don't think I can eat this :lauView attachment 3298670
That's how they look when you select broil by accident too. Pizza sauce does wonders surprisingly, ask me how I know

True dat. When I was a kid, we had doe weekend once per season. Things have definitely changed. They practically beg you to kill does now.
I wish they would open hog hunting all year with whatever you got. Right now it's bow only includes crossbow only during deer season in the federal wildlife preserve by me. And by me literally means a 5 minute walk. They are straight destroying the land. There's alot of marsh and they love the marsh grass roots. And hickory nut trees and apparently that's good eating too. They root up everything. Heards will move into an area root up everything kill the trees from the roots and move on to another spot leaving the deer nothing to eat.

Here you can pretty much take hogs year round by any means necessary. Including shooting from a helicopter. But not sure if the rules are the same on state or federal land.

On state land here it's the same as yours. Including gunning from a helicopter. The feds need to do the same. Honey island swamp (state land) basically backs up to big branch preserve (fed land). And it's that different from one to another

It is open year round here. On the Management ares, though, it is open only during any other season that is open with approved weapons for that particular open season.

But they won’t because wild hogs are a new cash crop…….they can easily trap them and ship them for paid hunting……as well as charge license fees for local hunting in-season
