Which BYC member scares you?

Change of plan, the kids really wanted to finish the pumpkin pie so I had coffee, a slice of turkey, and the last piece of pie for breakfast

Anyone planning on doing any black Friday shopping today? I haven't made plans to, but I might jump on Amazon and see if there's anything that just makes sense to buy

I did some brick and mortar Black Friday shopping on Wednesday with my daughter. I really shouid say that she did the shopping while I sat down and played with my phone until time to pay. And, some of the places offered me beer whike I waited. It was like here Dad have a drink while we help your daughter with your credit card.
Did some more last night online which is my typical way of shopping. I got a couple of good deals, or least they made me feel like I did

I don't get it either.
I mean it's Casper the friendly ghost.
He hated staying at home and frightening people. Wanted more then anything to go out into the world and make lots of friends.

Years ago, I told my wife I would rather pay full price than have her in the middle of an angry mob. If one of us is to be surrounded by blood thirsty animals, I prefer to be well armed.

@WallyG74 i’m the same way. the few bucks i might save aren’t worth the headache.

the one that i think is the most ridiculous is the huge crowd at the apple store on black friday. apple doesn’t offer any discounts whatsoever on black friday. people wait hours on line to pay full retail. i don’t get it.

Back in their hay days before the internet Black Fridays at Wal-Mart was one of my favorite days of the year. Like Pay Per View without the pay.
Watching someone's grandma throwing bows for a Tickle Me Elmo.
Oh man I miss the old days.

I’m the same way about gas too. Walmart, Murphy’s, Sam’s and the like… I avoid like the plague. I don’t search for the most expensive but I know where to go because I drive a company vehicle. People getting in fights and running into each other to line up for 10 to 15 cents in saving? Not me.

Yup. And I work the busiest sections, and I usually get pulled to work the Action Aisle, which is ALWAYS a show. However, seeing as we are under-staffed, I believe I will be pulled to work front-end.
