yeah, i get that point of view. it’s absolutely a tool just like anything else.

i need it for emails, schedules, zoom meetings when i’m in the car, face time with contractors…the list goes on.

I deliberately don't put work productivity stuff on my phone. If they want me answering emails from the can they can pay for me to carry a work phone. However, I do almost everything else on it. I tend to pick models based on their camera though, because if that's the one I'll be carrying the most, it needs to not suck.

I'd never use my personal phone for business. I have a work and my personal phones.

if i worked for someone else i’d probably look at things this way.

i tried the work/personal phones setup for a while. it was way too confusing.

now i just don’t take work calls or texts after 6pm. if someone on my team needs me urgently, we use a text code.

That is exactly why I chose my new phone. The camera!
