This is true, my black sex-link is a high rank and even will go for our alpha rooster sometimes.She wing dances around hens, and is so protective when she is in the coop laying an egg, crazy how tough she really is, even threatens me,and flogs the dogs.

I think the older the get, the weaker they become. I have 3 red sexlinks who avoid the others and even our cochin pullets can push them around (Only 2),and they dot even fight.
