I have 4 hens about a month apart from each other. I bought two that were supposedly laying and 2 I had since late march that were almost fully feathered. I get two eggs a day, but not always the same. I got a large with and without spots, mediums and smells. My hens are barred rock, silver laced wingotte, orpington, and Rhode island red. I'm I getting all hens laying or am I still missing some? I know for sure one of the bigger is from the silver laced since I watched her nesting on it one day. Is there a way to tell who is laying?

Go to the building supply store and buy a squirt bottle of colored chalk like is used in laying out lines to build on. Shake a little of this arounf her vent then look at the eggs for any tell-tail smears of chalk on the eggshells.

Personally I think that like in the 12 days of Christmas that you have 4 hens a laying.

Omg I just laughed to hard. But thank you. The roo has been breeding all 4 so that's why I was confused. When should I be getting 4 eggs a day?

You may get 4 eggs on some days of the week but most hens do not lay all 7 days a week. So 3 eggs a day from 4 hens is what i would expect.
Leghorns however are egg laying machines and the ones i have had took far fewer days off.
Also take onto account that they stop laying at molt.
During extreme weather, winter and excessive heat, my hens slack off.
Also, as they age they lay less eggs.
Other factors including stress and broodiness decrease or stop egg laying.
