I've actually never worn high heels before. I think these one are about 4-5in.? But even though I've never worn them before they feel pretty comfortable when I'm wearing them and I can walk in them pretty easily.

I love the color and style of number 1! I think it would look awesome with some of those spray on sparkles in your hair! I got some from a local drug store by where I live and I use them with almost any colored dress.

Thanks! Any reason why? I like them both too, but #2 makes me feel very slim and is very comfortable, #1 is comfortable too but it's a little more puffy so not as much slimming. But oh well, I'm skinny to begin with so I'm not too worried about which one makes me look thinner!

At my age I would have to go with slimmer

But, since you do not have that problem I would go with #1

#1 .....It looks like a more modern style......#2 seems dated to me. Maybe from the 80s........

I do agree though with the poster that said what ever happened to the long flowing prom dresses......they are no more.

The empire waist will be much more slimming and flattering. the layered skirt on the blue dress will make your bottom half look bigger.

My sister (who is now in college) has a long, flowing white dress that is really pretty that she wore to homecoming.

This is very hard because to really say, we'd need to see how you look in both, but I do NOT think it's good for you to post a picture of yourself in them.

From what you've said, it sounds like you are pretty confident and comfortable in your own skin which is the "Way to be!" BIG TIME!!!

They're both pretty and I'd go with whichever one you will feel the most comfortable in. That's what I always go with. I've had to dress up for many different occasions, but over time I've learned to dress for ME! It's true, you want to look nice, and other people's opinions matter somewhat, so you don't discount that I know, but within reason, go with what feels best for YOU!

Try each on and see which feels best to dance in! Figure out which one you'll smile more when you're wearing it! I'm thinking you'll be FANTASTIC in either!
