What do you like abou thet Muscovy breed?

They are quiet, lay well, make good meat birds, and friendly! They also don't need a pool because they prefer land

yeah, muscovy's actually enjoy perching somewhat (they sure have the claws for it...sharper than the other ducks. they have heritage from tree ducks...interestingly, all domestic ducks are derived from the mallard except for the muscovy.

Are swedish ducks good pets?

yes, they are similar to a pekin in personality, but i've had a couple that were s kiddish like the rouen. They are usually more expensive than pekins though, becauses they are not too common.

Well that may be much harder to find specific breeds. Are you looking for ducklings? If they are already adults then it will be much much harder to make them pets if they have not been raised that way. I loved my pekins and now I have a super sweet fawn and white runner. I have to wait for my girls to grow up a bit more before I can give first hand experience on eggs and how noisy and friendly each it.
