Which duck to get?

In another 2 months you can get most of the ducks talked about above from TSC.

That's sweet! Do you have a pic of them? So if I get a duckling we will have a closer bond?

Craigslist. So which one is your ultimate favorite city farmer12? Thank you so much for your help!
man, that's tough...welsh harliquins, pekins, and swedish are my favorites when it comes to personality, but runners, cayuga's, rouens, calls and crested are really great too. Lol, i love all my ducks to bits, and can't choose one as a favorite. :)

Your welcome :) i love talking about ducks

I am going to be completely honest with you. So I have two Indian runner ducks. They are causing too much trouble - they are mating with the female hens. And the are terrified of me. So I want to sell them and get two female Pekins. But my mom is sad because she loves their color. It makes me feel bad to sell them. I thought of buying three other female indian runner ducks but they are full grown and they won't like me either. Which makes me sad. Could you please help me? Thank you so much.

You have 2 male runners? How old were they when you got them? It goes against a ducks nature to be loving and trusting of humans if they are not raised that way. Even then ducks are not like cats and dogs. They are a prey animal and know it so it takes LOTS and LOTS of time to get them really tame. Even tame is subjective. Having only Male ducks in with chickens is a big no, no. They can seriously injure or even kill a hen when trying to mate with them.

Yeah I know we already separated them. They were 4 months old when I got them. Thank you so much!

well, Indian runners are great at eating bugs and being pretty, but they sure aren't the nicest ones in the bunch...mine are not friendly either. Pekin's are totally better when i comes to personality...i keep my ducks separate from the chickens, so i can't help with the whole mating thing...i've kept a couple with chickens before, but the only bullied the chickens, not mated with them... sorry :(
