WHICH DUTCH BANTAM VARIETY ARE THESE?

Just as there is no Black Breasted Red in Dutch Bantams there is no Light Brown variety in Old English Game Bantams.
The birds pictured are poor representations of Light Brown Dutch Bantams, probably of hatchery origin. For the most part hatcheries produce birds that sort of look like what they are advertised to be.

yeah, they were just donations from a 4-H kid. my woman never owned chickens before and liked the little dutch, so they are hers. not show stock, pets? definately!

i am in total agreement with you there. i had true dutch back in the 90's . the male i have today barely resembles the birds i owned back then. that is why i was asking what it was.
the female is so so. perhaps if my lady wants to breed her, i would find a male more true to the standard. if in fact i was to sell or show dutch.

check out the earlobes, white. there is no white earlobes in old english game bantams.
that is dutch characteristics.
the light brown is more correct as far as color.
thanks
