Crowing
The easiest way to tell if you are getting true Ameraucana or Easter Eggers is color/variety. If there is no color/variety specified, it's a safe bet they are Easter Eggers. Ameraucana ALWAYS have a color/variety specified.

Here it is: http://fowlstuff.com/FAbout.htmlThere was a breeder by the name of John that used to sell quality chicks but I don't remember his last name and I don't know if he's still breeding them. He also bred Chanteclers.
Yes, that is the guy. I've heard he breeds good birds.Bleme. Sells under fowl stuff.
I have a lavender rooster of his.
I’m getting 6 female chicks most likely in April. I want a mixed egg basket so I’m getting a Golden Campine pullet for white eggs, a Black scooper Marans pullet for dark chocolate eggs, a salmon Faverolles pullet and a buff brahma pullet for pinkish eggs, a Dominique pullet for brown eggs, and an Ameraucana pullet for blue eggs. I want a pure Ameraucana not an Easter Egger or a mix. I looked at mypetchicken and they have blue/black/splash Ameraucanas, but they’re a bit pricey. I looked at some other hatcheries and I don’t know if their Ameraucanas are good quality and pure. Does anyone know of a hatchery that sells quality and pure Ameraucanas for a reasonable price? I may just end up ordering the other 5 chicks from mypetchicken and source an Ameraucana pullet from my chicken contact. If I choose to source from my chicken contact how can I be sure that I am getting a pure Ameraucana pullet and not an Easter Egger or a mix? Thanks in advance for the replies.
That’s great!
I looked at their website, unfortunately they are sold straight run and you must buy a minimum of 25 chicks.
I hatched these for a local small farm pretty much in my backyard. So all I would need is a quantity and some time to sex them once hatched. If interested you can meet the parents of the birds by visiting https://www.facebook.com/schusterspoultryfarm/?pnref=lhc and setting up a visit to the farm. Robert is a super nice guy! let me know thanks. That’s great!Do you sell them straight run or sexed? Wil you have some in April?

I’ll take two pullets if you don’t mind. I would love to meet the parents but I don’t have Facebook.
If it’s not any trouble could you please add me to your February hatch list? Are the eggs due to hatch in February or will you be setting them in February? I’m out of the country until the first week of March and when I get back I will start building my new chicken coop with attached run that should be completed God willing at the end of March. At what age would you prefer me to pick up the chicks?https://localhens.com/farms/profile/schusters-poultry-farm/
I have some available now or I can just add you to my list for my February hatch.
