Which Hatchery Sells Quality And Pure Ameraucanas?

If it’s not any trouble could you please add me to your February hatch list? Are the eggs due to hatch in February or will you be setting them in February? I’m out of the country until the first week of March and when I get back I will start building my new chicken coop with attached run that should be completed God willing at the end of March. At what age would you prefer me to pick up the chicks?

I would like some time to sex the birds before I say for sure if the are pullets. So the birds can be ready for pick-up anytime after March. Ill be setting the eggs on February 1st if you need them sooner please let me know ASAP. Also, I would need a deposit on the cost of the eggs and then the remainder balance can be paid on pick up. Good luck with your coop building. I have built a few so if you have any questions please let me know.
FYI, Robert has a large array of purebred birds so if you are interested in something different let me know.

I think that picking them up from you mid April would give substantial time to determine their sex and give me enough time to have everything setup. I haven’t ordered the other chicks yet and I won’t until the coop is complete. February 1st is perfect. How much for the chicks? I’ll have to confirm with my mom and then I can send you a deposit. Would you like it mailed? Cash? Check? As for the coop, I’m modifying the poultry palace plans from buildacoop.com and I have designed and built 2 coops myself, but I am always open to learn more.

Mid April works for me. Eggs go for 2.50 each but if your only needing to birds, I can take the risk of not getting a deposit. The birds can be picked up for $25 each sexed and ready to go. Are you planning on vaccinating your birds?

I like to have my chickens vaccinated for Marek’s when possible. I don’t have any vaccines? How would I go about having them vaccinated? So nice of you to forgo the deposit on the eggs. I will confirm with my mother later today and get back to you with a definite answer. I don’t want to make you hatch more chickens than you need. $25 for pure sexed Ameraucanas is extremely reasonable. What colors do you normally hatch?

I can vaccinate the birds for you. Let me know prior to their hatch date because they are vaccinated on day one of their life.
I have only hatched Black Ameraucana's and a few Araucana flavors, Black and White, Grey.

You have access to Araucanas? I’d buy an Araucana pullet if you could get me one. I found a place to buy Araucanas but they’re $50 a bird
ETA: I would like my chicks to be vaccinated, but if you can’t sex them at hatch will you just vaccinate 2 and hope they’re females? I’m not picky about the color just happy that I’ve found a place to buy pure quality Ameraucana pullets. :D

This thread gave me a chuckle. Hatcheries are kind of the antithesis of "quality and pure" anything except for production. And when it comes to Ameraucanas it's a total shot in the dark. There's a real chance that their "pure" Ameraucanas are just EEs anyhow. Go for buying from a breeder. :)
