I think if you cross a blue/green laying Americana and a dark brown egg layer, the resulting chick should lay olive colored eggs. I think this can be slightly varied depending on what gene the Americana passes on, but that is sort of what I gather…. 		 Also, she died after one year, so did some of the other breeds we got.  We have had good luck with D'uccles.  They seem to last, but I really want those little blue or green eggs.  I will be ordering at least on std Ameraucana to try for that blue or green egg.  Then, I would need to find a FBCM as stud.  I happen to know someone with a beautiful rooster that I can use.
