Which hen should I keep?

Long story short, I'm downsizing my cross breed bantam flock and I'm torn between which hen to keep of the few I have left to decide on. One hen is the "top hen". She is the first one to eat and won't let anyone eat until she is done. The hens are honestly scared of her at times lol. However, she is more confident and more comfortable around people. The other hen is skiddish around people and can be a mess when she flies up into the ceiling of the coop, but she is overall more of a "normal" hen and doesn't bully others.

I would definitely keep the skittish hen, over one that is damaging the overall health and happiness of the flock.

There is also a chance that losing a source of anxiety will make the other relax and get a bit friendlier as a result : )

No. But I have a hatch from about 2 months ago and I plan on keeping a rooster from them.

I would keep the shyer one then. The bossy one may not relent her position to the male when he's of age

All depends on what you want. I've never not had a rooster, so I have no experience with just hen flocks

Do you have pictures? If you want to keep the confident hen, you could provide an extra feeder so she can’t hog all the food.
