I ordered mine straight from the manufacturer at the recommendation of MissPrissy. She had an amazing story about great customer service from them. With shipping and an automatic turner, mine came to $172.

however i will recommend homa nd barn basics who happen to be a b.y.c sponsor they have great service are extremely friendly and the cheapest i have found especially when they are having sales like rite now. andddd u get a 5% discount if you are a b.y.c member on top of the sale price just call them and ask about it

I'm convinced. Hov 1588. However, if someone goes broody, I would go that way. Can a hen go broody this time of year?

I want the 1588 but I did just get a lil ol 1602N for 38 delivered so I did that for now. While I'm finishing the coop I saved a buck and went with the lesser beast.

Besides BYC has proven that we can add fans ourselves and have it work out. And I decided to start slow and cost effective.

I'm excited like a grade school kid waiting for a bator to get here. Now for eggs...
