Which is easier?

Somehow I managed the 8’ 4x4s in our tiny rav! Haha. The front passenger seat goes down almost entirely if the headrest is removed and I drove slow. Had I slammed the breaks, it probably would’ve broke the windshield.

I've got a different small car, but I do similar things. No broken windshields yet :)

So close. Hit a bump in motivation, but am back at it. Babies will be here soon! I’ll need to fasten polycarbonate roof and hardware cloth. And of course the swing I made from our Christmas tree that was hanging around the yard!

More pics! Pop door is a pulley. I had calculated the side vents for four birds (4’x 4’ coop) but it looks large too me, so I added a flap that if weather gets intense (blizzard), I can drop it down and I have an extra flap to hang on inside of run if I ever need. Made a pvc feeder and used a half pallet with some boards ripped for a ladder. For my first coop, I think it looks good!

Hi everyone! I’m new here. I’ve always wanted chickens and now that we moved into our own home and aren’t renting, we can! I’m handy, but not fantastic and we don’t have a car large enough to bring home sheets of plywood, so what’s the easiest coop design to make or would it be easier to convert a plastic doghouse? I’m planning on having three favorelles. I can have Home Depot cut 2x4 and 2x2; it’s the plywood that overwhelms me. But in the end, if it’ll cost the same in the end as eglu, do I just go that route?
I like high quality meat bird, but cheap on the coop. For that reason, the shipping box coop with dog kernel work well for me. The pallet also work well for the purpose. I have seen so many nice coops give away, but disassemble/reassemble would be painful.

Curious why you didn't go straight over from upper pulley?
Like this, cause....it's would be 'easier' to pull rope:

I had to edit the above because I hit post too soon. For example the lip inside the pop door was a last minute addition because I read someone else’s post about bedding falling out and then slammed my head on the ground. Jk

also! This one is a big newbie flaw - See where the entrance door to run is and the ramp for the pop door... makes it kind of hard to get in and clean with that there next to each other. Another bang my head moment, so I added hinges to ramp to pull it up if I need to get in all the way.
