Which is the Olive Egger and which is the Black Ameraucana?

I ordered a Black Ameraucana and an Olive Egger from Meyer Hatchery on the same order, hatched Oct 14th. Meyer are known to use Black Ameraucanas for their Olive Egger hybrids.

I can’t tell the two apart other than one has a bigger messier tail (front) and one has a smaller neater tail (rear). Neither are laying yet.

I was going to say the one with fluffy cheeks would be the OE, but in these pics, both appear to have them. If that's the case, you have two OEs.

Oh I apologize, I misread your OP and thought you were asking if one was a Black AUSTRALORP. Ignore me completely. Both Ameraucanas and OEs would have fluffy faces.

I have a Bantam Ameraucana from Meyer and she has that longer/"messier" look to her rear feathers, so my *guess* would be that the one in the front is the Ameraucana. You may need to wait until they start laying...
