Which Maran rooster should I keep. The first pict or second?

Now that I know the third is a mix and will go to a new home, What rooster should I keep. The lighter or darker Cuckoo Maran...???

First two are Marans.#3 is probably Olive Egger(MaransxEE cross)

Cuckoo Maran Right. Why is there such a difference in the darkness of the first two....Which one should I keep?

Which one lays darker eggs? I think that is a factor for the Marans in addition to the coloring.

The feathers on the legs is the French standard on Marans.
The bottom Roo is mix of some sort. If you want to breed true marans then I think you should stick to the first Roo. Not a pro at Marans but that's the one that suits my eye best.
