Hello, I have a Silkie cross. Crazy Alice is my best Broody Momma. She loves Chicks. She successfully raises my Large Brahma/ Orpington cross Chicks. She can hatch out 7 in a clutch..

Do you think a Silkie bantam could successfully hatch out Coturnix Quail eggs?

I gave a white silkie a dozen coturnix quail eggs and they got crushed. Maybe if I gave less eggs. Still a risk though.
