The one that is has and X on her I know is the hen. Some have told me she is a roo but SHE lays eggs. I have placed her BY her self and I can tell my Poof as she will come when called an I use her for a lot of animal education about HOW to care for chickens... (not so much breeding I am learning about that as in HOW to do it besides them doing it naturally lol) I think only one my be in the whites and the new black one I have MAYBE the breeder of him/her told me He was 70% sure it was male BUT not fore sure. (so can you all tell now that they are older... an EVEN if one is a roo and its white and it the black is hen can I still get black and other colors from them depending on whats in the back ground. 2 of the white looked buff or blueish/toffee colored when I got them and not are white with a ting of that color... so are they still considered white or off white with a ting... still learning colors here are well as some are NOT all white and they are NOT all dirty.. have baby pics in here to show the off colors. and is that off color still considered white just not show worthy then?
sorry for all the pictures wanted to get the best pics I could of them. some are more as some dont like to sit still. the black supposed male is Sultan for now if hen then Sateen.

Puff looks the most like a cockerel because of the large comb and wattles. What age are these birds? The black one could be a cockerel but it may take awhile longer to know for sure.

Of the white ones, only Truffle has the mulberry comb pure that Silkies are supposed to have. The black one has the right kind of comb, too.

They are all very cute!

We got them in April but they already had some nice wings on them not like newly hatched. they came in on April 6th but they looked to be at lest a few weeks older even then sad they looked to be. my hen Poof is a year old and the roster looking one Puff is larger then she is. SO I say they are about 3/to 5 months at most. The sea-brights I know are way older when I got them like a month older. the black one I got the black one in may 10th and he/she was about a week old an I was told was vent sexed (they were ok at it but not 100%) but has a more defined lump on the head like most of his other males so he was going by that to.... (NOW I have been trying to wing sex bantams (silkies are harder THEN others) they say you can't BUT so far I have been pretty good and have gotten MORE hens then roos (silkies are a LOT harder) BUT it can be done just takes a lot of looking hard at the wings an the females TO me tend to have a more smaller slender face/build and beak in any of the bantam sex an the females tend to for me see less poofy in some breeds as females at 1ft like the silkie top or the brantam feet.... just things I picked up on... BUT not always the case. Like some hens I have have HUGE combs and waddles LIKE a rooster BUT I have put them IN a cage and they lay me eggs. BUT they are quite dom hens of the coop as well. BUT like these guys I was not sure of so I asked. I had and Ideal BUT was not sure.

SO will some of these guys then NOT stay small? as in grow med size and not be Bantams? I know there are bantams silkies and then just the silkies reg size. I think they ordered these one from either mcmurry or cackle an I though they were all supose to be pure???? lol OR dose this mean that there was another roo in that hen house lol.... it just looks silkie enough lol. can I still sell the off spring marked a silkies just mark some are pure or just mark some silkies and silkies with rose combs would that be better?
and thank you for the information.
