currently debating on which feed to go with. I am thinking of switching to nutrena because it has a higher niacin content and is now available locally. It is also the same price as purina FR. I am also thinking about moving to pellets for my older ducklings as they seem to be wasting food daily. What are some thoughts?

Sounds like Nutrena is a good choice. as for pellets I haven't ever been a fan but I make Fermented feed for mine so I can use either because the pellets dissolve in ACV water. Or just plain water. Might give it a try and see how they like it.

What are the benefits of feeding fermented feed?

Found something my feathered piggies won’t eat. They won’t eat pellets. Crazy birds. Well there is always mash to make it into.
Mine dont like it very much. They love corn i mixed some with pelets and they started eating the mix and i cut the corn out gradualy and they still eat pellets
