Which one...

I have tried the fermented feed the last two days. They seem to stop eating it sooner than just a wet mash feed. But are still eating all of it. They just seem to fill up faster.

It is also the only way to get them to eat the new pellets by nutrena.

So a question on FF do you just feed a certain amount a day of it? Or like two meals then foraging? Or do you do both FF and dry offered throughout the day? What seems to work out best, or yields better results on ease and upkeep when dealing with waste!
I put out what I think my 40 birds will eat for the day mine do not like dry feed so it’s wasted just about all my birds have grown up on FF so they really like the moist feed better. Most of the time by late afternoon it mostly eaten then they get their scratch grains mixed up in the left over ff the scratch grains have wheat oats and corn . Best thing to do is try different ways of feeding the food and dry or just ff or do both. My layers I feel need more than just foraging so I keep ff out all the time in the day light since yours are at their biggest growing stage they should have feed out during daylight too I think .
