Which Rabbits Are Easiest To Breed? I Need Advice!

I'd go with Dutch. Although they probably wouldn't be very profitable I'm with some of the others most rabbit breeding adventures aren't profitable.
Dutch have been a popular pet breed for decades. They're small, easy to handle, come in a variety of colors, easy to find, not too expensive and popular for showing if you want to get good stock and sell to that market.
They're a fun little breed that have stood the test of time.
Thank you! I will look into them.

in my area, "small" pet type rabbits is an over produced market. Everyone has them listed on FB and CL all the time. However, upon researching what was lacking in my area was an abundance of meat rabbits and standard Rex. Buy the best quality stock you can afford! It will pay off quicker than you thing. I breed for quality meat and fur. My dad use to do the same, and once told me "breed the best and cull the rest." I refuse to sell low quality stock for breeders.

Not to disagree, but I would not go with Dutch. Their color pattern must be almost perfect or they are DQed. You would have to sell 80% or more of the kits in a litter as pets (very cheap) bc very few have the correct color pattern. I would do Holland lops, Mini rex, rex, or polish

Mini Rex and Holland lops are both pretty docile, imo, and have better variety of colors than Dutch (who are also very sweet, but much higher standards for showing). In my experience lionheads are finicky care wise.

X2 Raising a $20 pet and a $90 show quality rabbit takes exactly the same amount of feed, cleaning, etc. The difference is almost all front end investment.
