There ya go again......can't get much better than a next door breeder who can be trusted to tell the truth! My neighbor breeds them and ended up with 5 cockerels. She is going to keep two and finding homes for the other 3. He is around 10 weeks old.

I would suggest any of the following roosters:What cockerel or rooster would you pick for this flock?
She breeds several different kinds. My husband says I need to stop acquiring birds. I think she is trying to make me an addict lol. She is TX NPIP certified, what ever that means. I just know I want 1 of everything she has over there. There ya go again......can't get much better than a next door breeder who can be trusted to tell the truth!
i was going to bring in a new flock with a americana rooster, how many of yours were aggressive because I' planned on breeding americanasI would suggest anything but an Amercaucana or an EE, I have kept them and they are very aggressive- no fun at all.
True Ameraucanas are supposed to be a calm breed. My Blue Am rooster has never shown any aggression toward people (including kids), dogs, cats, ducks, or other chickens. Two of his sons (both came from the same hen, she was a bully) have been rough with other chickens but never shown any human/other animal aggression. The rest were culled by at least 16 weeks but I never had an aggression problem with any of them.i was going to bring in a new flock with a americana rooster, how many of yours were aggressive because I' planned on breeding americanas
I've got news for ya, Friend ... with a coop roster like yours, you're already an addict! Don't feel too badly about it, though ... most of us here are in the same boat!I think she is trying to make me an addict lol. She is TX NPIP certified, what ever that means.
