Which route do i take???

Well, im currently incubating 5 eggs, and this is there 2nd full day in the incubator.(so if you can get back to me before they hatch, it'd be much appreciated) I have a brooder prepared for the ones that hatch but I started thinking about trying to graft them to one of my 8 hens. I've heard a lot of different ways of how to get one broody. Or if one already is, how do keep it broody until the chicks hatch? Any Suggestions

In my limited experience with chickens, I have never heard of any way to MAKE a hen go broody. It's totally up to the hen. As far as keeping a hen broody until the eggs in your incubator hatch, you could try putting some fake eggs or some golf balls under her and maybe that would encourage her to stay broody but again, it is ultimately up to the hen. If the hen has been sitting on a nest for about a week, you could try letting her finish hatching the eggs for you. Good luck and maybe some one with more experience then me will respond with better info.
