It may end up depending on what the 4-H-ers are selling at the fall County and State fairs, but it looks like everyone likes the gold sex links.

I noticed on the Ideal site that both the black and brown SLs are RIR x rocks (just different colors of rock). OTOH the gold SLs are RIRed x RIWhite , while the red SLs are RIR x Delaware .

I was originally thinking about getting a couple production reds, but maybe I'll substitute the gold SLs instead.

Ideal's Production Reds are a very good layer and a very attractive bird.
