Here is my opinion and only my opinion on the different types. The German is all leg. Reminds me of the gangly large breed puppy at the leggy stage. I just don't enjoy looking at them. The Australian looks very similar to the Australorp. Just not a look I particularly like. The modern has a look similar to the Cornish or many of the fighting breeds. Not a fan of those. The Croad is the only one I find appealing.

German looks like a man in the 1920s with his trousers hiked up. The "Mya, see?" kind of guy, you know the ones. That look in his eye tells me he's suffering from a bad wedgy but he's too much of a gentleman to fix it.

Australian looks like a science experiment, all I see are horse cloppers. And I feel like the legs were attached in the wrong spot. Just very strange proportions that don't really seem to fit each other. Like a Mr. Potato Head's spare parts :lol: (yer spare parts, bud!)

Modern looks like a fairly wild type of chicken, like a liege fighter or something. Again with the 6ft legs though. Freakish.

Croad is a masterpiece. That is all ;)

I'm with you lol. I just can't resist the big fluffy ones 😍
