Which type of langshan is your favorite

I think croad Langshan. I got a white Langshan from McMurray that must be a croad type - feathered feet, large, and a fluffy butt!!

I just picked up a splash pair from a breeder last night, and they are much larger than my 4 black hens from the feed store. I think the splash hen is almost double the size of the hatchery hens! The rooster stands almost 3ft tall, and I'm only 5'2". It's incredible.

LOL that's definitely me in the picture And yes, they come in white, black, blue and splash. I'm so excited to find this splash pair, because splash and black makes blue! Once I'm able to put them together I'll have the whole BBS gang, so exciting!

The Croads are very attractive. The German looks rather gamey with those long legs.

Exactly. I'd love to have a breeding group of Croads one day and try to breed for strong heavy bloom genes.
But I also just love the big fluffy sweet giants that Croads are

Croads are the closest to the original imports. The cockbirds are real sweeties, and get large enough for people to comment about them.
