Hi all, I searched here on BYC and mostly found references to just “Vetericyn”; sometimes Vetericyn spray.

I’m ordering off Chewy, and they have many, many Vetericyn products from there.

Could someone share exactly which version they use (strength, etc.), or even better, post a pic of it here?

Thanks!

When we had a badly wounded bird, we'd wash her wound twice a day with saline in a spray bottle, blot it dry, smear with Neosporin, then spray with this (pic below). It's a gel and seemed to act as a bandaid, protecting the wound and keeping it clean and moist. I didn't realize there were other versions of it so someone else will have to tell you about those. Our hen was good as new in three weeks, and I thought we were going to have to put her down. (It was a bad dog bite.)

Thank you so much! Adding full name here, in case the link breaks in the future:
Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Poultry Care Spray, 8 fl oz bottle.

This is helpful, because some of the product descriptions weren’t for antimicrobial.

And Autoship is $19.94, almost exactly what I needed for free shipping on my next bag of feed. 😁

Now this is interesting, for the gel wound sealant. I don’t want to think of band-aids on feathers.

I can grab this on the next Autoship order, thanks!

I'm having the same conundrum because there used to be just one Vetericyn, but when I looked the other day there were over a dozen!
Some of it seems like it might just be marketing?
Like does the 8 ounce bottle of poultry spray contain different ingredients than the bigger bottle of all-species spray?
