My boss has a very nice Thoroughbred mare which is built like a warmblood. I'm thinking of breeding her to a European stallion to get a riding horse for myself. I want a foal with looks, elegance & movement. The stallions should have refinement, wow movement & good looking, well placing offspring. I don't even know where to begin looking-there are so many nice stallions!
This is an example of the type that I like. He passed away last year unfortunately. I like a giant british riding pony type of look.

This is the mare. Don't bother critiquing her conformation, I just took some quick pasture pics & you know how they can make something look good or bad depending on the angle. These shots are just to give an idea of type. You can see why I want a refining influence.
Update:
I started riding her yesterday because I just had her shod & the stallion I ride isn't putting on weight well. If you've ever wondered what riding a 9 year old horse on the racetrack is like, wonder no more-I KNOW! Day one, I realized that she doesn't know how to walk. She has 2 paces-teeth grinding while sidewards jog or gallop. Put a lot of work into her & spent most of the ride leading her. Day two, spent almost all the ride in the saddle & at a walk, trotted a bit too. She has a lovely temperament, just needs a full retraining. Shouldn't take long, she's a fast learner. I'll start thinking of breeding her towards the end of the year.
