Which way have you had luck better? Egg cartons or laying in the bator?

I have tried both ways...but which way do you think is better? Using the egg carton method where they hatch in those or just laying them on their sides and letting them go??

Mine are all hatched in cartons that are tilted on there side at a 45 degree angle by propping them on the wall.
The eggs are in there natural state(angle) but cant roll around. In a small incubator you can cut cartons in to strips to put the eggs in an have the same results.

I like the carton method the best. Easier cleanup and they pop right out without the bowling ball effect....

I agree. Much easier cleanup and keeps them from getting knocked around while trying to hatch.
