ok...so we purchased extras so wed have a choice...
and now were not sure which were keeping lol.
theres 3 easter eggers and 3 silver laced wyandottes and a gold laced wyandotte that we need to decide on.
well be keeping 1 silver laced...
silver laced 1:
Silver Laced 2:
or Silver Laced 3:
Of those 3 which would YOU pick. weve got till wednesday to decide lol.
now for the next lot we have 2 options...
we can either keep the golden laced, and 1 EE, or 2 EE's...
heres the golden laced:
and heres the EE's (and any guesses on adult color would be great) all of them have lovely fluffy faces
EE 1: shes actually the least "chipmonk" like shes a chestnut red down her back and on her head and like a VERY soft blue grey on her underside. Id LOVE a blue bird!
EE 2: Mid range in color, just a little lighter orange/yellow than the buff orphington, with a nice red "stripe"
and EE 3: shes the lightest of the 3, with a similar soft yellow to my columbian rock girl...and a more orange red stripe with a darker richer red border, the splotch on her head is shaped like the super man symbol lol
all of these are SUPPOSED to be pullets...i know its not an exact science and we cant have roos so if any of those scream roo let me know.
there currently about 4 days old all have the start of wing feathers.
so...
of those babies...who would YOU choose to keep.
the extras are already claimed.
they will be joining, 1 columbian rock, 1 barred rock, 1 black australorp, 1 Buff Orphington, 1 speckled Sussex, 1 Partridge rock and 1 Dark Brahma.
i want lots of color and pattern, sweet birds who tend to lay well.
