Whining before “going to bed”

Hi! This is the first time I hear them being sooo chatty before sleep. It was 9 pm and they were already roosting. I heard them and went to see if something was wrong, but I don’t know what was going on. Is it normal?

Totally normal. Just some extra gossip from the day.

I get that from my hens on occasion, usually around egg time when someone is in their favorite nesting box. Doesn't seem to be a symptom of any real troubles, just them giving some sass to the other hens.

Hahaha okay it must be me that I missed those moments. It looked like they were gossiping or venting xD One of them, Misery, was very loud and the others replied.
I imagine it as “And then the human made me come to the enclosed run and I couldn’t eat more bugs!” And the others “oh yea very relatable”.
