Just then, Autumn stirred. She blinked one eye open. Everything was blurry at first, but then she saw the ceiling of a cave. Dried blood was caked around the wound on her chest where the bullet had hit, and she had great difficulty breathing. She hobbled onto her paws, and she noticed how weak she felt. Her fur was left ungroomed. Her heart felt feeble.
She teetered outside and into the sunshine for the first time since she was shot. What had happened while she was unconscious?
Wolf obliviously exists in silent vigil outside, definitely not present until Heron's comment rouses his attention.

Cherry stood up as Sand abruptly raced off to his brother and her mother approached her. "I was just waiting for the commotion to calm, and I am very...out of sorts. Just needed to lay down." She head bumped her mother gently, but due to her sheer size Ice staggered a bit. Cherry began purring again, louder than before. The deep baritone tones belying the feminine beauty of her fluffy face. She circled her mother, sweeping her plumelike tail and whispy cheeks all over her. "Sweet mother, so jealous of my love!" She chattered, delighted
As Cherry brushed off the fact she wasn't possessive of a head just a short time ago, Ice followed her out of her den.

"Cherry!" Frog cried joyfully, as he saw his sister. Wind was at his side. "I thought you were dead! But you're alive!" His fur was matted and he was awful to look at.
Frog tackled his sister happily. "Never, never, NEVER, leave again," he scolded.

Lion padded over to Star, the she-cat was sitting back on her hind legs, tail wrapped neatly over her forepaws. As he watched her, he noticed her ears were angling towards the healer's den. She must be wondering about Chaos. He thought. When she spotted him, her shoulders relaxed slightly, "Hi Lion," she mewed, as he came up beside her. "Hey," he mewed. "How's it going?" It was a stupid thing to say, and he knew it, but nothing better came to mind. Her whiskers twitched slightly, "I'm doing fine," she mewed, "You?" He thought for a moment, before mewing, "I guess I'm fine too." Star smiled slightly, "Let's go see what's on the fresh kill pile." Lion didn't object, and the two of them padded forward in that direction.
