Rumble burst forth from the bushes with a plump chipmunk dangling in his jaws. It flopped about as he ran up to Raven, dropping it at her feet. "I'm to be an uncle today! Isn't that fantastic? Here celebrate with me, will you?" The gallant smile and confident, pert ears covering the fact he was quite worried about being turned away by the fluffalicious she-cat
“Okay,” Raven mewed. “It is exciting.” “You shouldn’t be too anxious though” she added, “you are a father aren’t you?” She inquired.

Rumble tore the chipmunk in half with a tug and gave the best half to Raven. "No, I am not." He pushed her snack forward with his nose and added with a dashing grin, "all good things in time."

Raven was taken aback. “Of course I know how to fight! But why would I need to right now.”

"Oh, not a hunter then, good. I've been needing some cat to help me out with training for fighting. Would you mind?"

Fire looked at her, "The expierenced cats are difficult to work with, I need someone closer to my age to teach me. The older cats tend to be set in their ways and don't offer the slack I need to properly learn. So, are you okay with that?" He blushed slightly at her.

(I just checked the archives, he’s actually close on a year younger than her....)
“I’d be glad to teach you what I know,” Raven replied.

(That's why he said.*closer*. not close but closer.)
"Thanks, not today but maybe tomorrow if you're not busy." He ignored the fact he had pretty much asked her on a date.

He trotted away happily.

Cricket was completely delighted with being forgotten, for she saw what was playing out before her eyes. "I SHIP IT ALL," she blurted at the top of her lungs.
