Can it be the next day?
Meadow heard footsteps and laughter as a family of twolegs ran through the pelting rain, carrying a giant thing on their shoulders.
Meadow peeped out from behind the grass cautiously, spying a strange Twoleg food on the ground. She grabbed it in her teeth and dragged it into the grass. She tasted it.
Another one of those things that Sand had found. It didn't seem harmful though, so she clenched it in her jaws and ran back to camp. The ground was wet; giant puddles of water lapped at her paws. By the time Meadow reached her Special Private Den, she was absolutely drenched. She didn't even think about her parents being worried. She just dropped the burger and fell fast asleep, lulled by the rolling thunder.

(you can make it morning now but I gtg. Goodnight!)

Thanks. Feather woke up and she found she was curled up right next to Drops. She shook her pelt and padded out of the Singles Den. Outside, the air was fresh but when she looked around camp, she saw branches and twigs everywhere and the elder's den had a hole in it.

Meadow lifted up her head and stared outside lazily. Twigs were everywhere. A large branch had fallen over the elders’ den, and the ground was covered in wet puddles, but besides that everything seemed fine. After a while, Meadow stretched and hopped down from her rock.

"Go back home," Meadow hissed at Ember. "Your leg. You could get caught."
Meadow knew that she was also in danger, but she was willing to investigate this Monster if it meant finding the secret to Endless Bounty.
"I'll be fine, I won't let you go alone." She was trying to help her and being a stubborn little cat.
