Lion felt highly annoyed, but he nodded, knowing he had little choice. Embers has been more trouble than help to the tribe lately. He couldn’t help thinking.
Embers looked at the root and showed on it. She got through it and fled. Still screeching. She crashed into a cat, a rogue. "This is Tribe territory!" She hissed at him. He turned to her and mewed, "You can't defend it. You can barely walk." She howled for help and lunged at him favoring her uninjured side.

"Oh my Stars, how could I forget about Embers!" Meadow muttered to herself, retracing her steps through the mud and slush and tall dead grass. "EMBERS!" She called out. "Where are you!"

Lion surged ahead of Dawn, the large tom tackling the rogue. His long claws raked down the foreign cats side, sending it screeching through the woods.

Meadow heard a screech coming from the thunderpath. Her eyes widened and her heart began pumping like it would jump out of her chest.

Once more a cat leapt at Embers and mewed at her, "We have orders to murder you! We'll follow them, no matter what! Shadow says so."

Lion intercepted him, wrapping his forepaws behind the rogues shoulders, before raking his exposed belly, then grabbing his scruff, gave him a similar farewell to the she-cat.
