Embers scampered in and tucked her tail in her legs. "Leopard, we HAVE to go! NOW! This was a diversion, she's sent all her cats to camp. I only just escaped my guard, please we have to go to warn them."


Shadowblaze let out a laugh and glared at Leopard. "Good at lying, aren't I Hawk?"

Hawk jumped out and mewed, "Why yes dear! Yes you are!" Then both cats fled the den, leaving a terrified Embers and Leopard behind.

Embers scampered into the den and looked at Leopard, pure terror in her eyes. "WE HAVE TO GO NOW! They're going to camp, if we head them off we can stop them."

Shadowblaze laughed and turned to flee the den. She pushed on, slapping her paws on the hard ground. She was suddenly on the ground, a 15 moon old cat on top of her.

Fire bashed into the strange cat, "OFF MY TERRITORY!" He spat into her face, hoping Raven was close.

Raven heard the commotion. She spotted a sleek brown blur barrel into the cat with whom Fire was so bravely fighting. Star was now lashing out at the she-cat. Raven rushed to help.

Fire spotted Raven barrel over and let out an exhale. "Thanks! She's strong, I couldn't have had her much longer." He started rake alongside Raven as their flanks brushed.

Feather dropped into a hunting crouch and started to creep toward the log. Without a second thought or move, she launched herself over the log and landed on her feet with a mouse dangling in her jaws.

"Nice catch," Drops said. He stalked into the forest, listening for more.

Raven's claws scorched the foreign she-cats muzzle. She and Fire were making progress. The rogue couldn't hold out for much longer.

Shadowblaze dropped and watched her cats flailing in the fight. "FLEE! Retreat and regroup at base, we can finish the fight later." All her cats scrambled out of the claws and fled.

Fire looked at Raven and gasped, "Your ear! It's nicked, so is mine. Are you okay otherwise?"
