Wind spotted the muddy, bedraggled figure of a cat stumble into the clearing. "Is that... Embers?" he whispered.
There were a few guards at the feline's flank, but the four of them could probably take them. What would happen to Meadow?

Dream flinched, "I don't fight, I hunt! Is there a way to trick them perhaps?"
"Yeah. What do you say? Your idea, I'm still going with my plan until you come up with something better. You saw Grass, she didn't care about whether she was a hunter," Wind meowed with annoyance.

Dream looked around for what they could use and then something caught his eye. A dead cat was strewn near the other side. "What if we use that?" He flicked his tail at it, "Some of us could hold it and move it pretending to be a vengeful ghost or something. Then the others could sneak her out." He waited for rebuke on an idea he knew was bad.

“I can distract them,” Meadow stammered. “I’m no fighter, so you’ll have to surprise attack or something and do the real fighting.”

Wind just glared. "None of us can turn invisible," he said.

"Ok," Wind said. "I can't take them down, but I think I can hold them off until Embers escapes."

Suddenly a dark black cat jumped out next to Embers and told the abusers to leave. After gone he turned to her, his eyes full of grief. She looked at him, "I-I thought you didn't love me anymore?"
Bat shook his head, "Of course not, I did what I did to protect you. But your Tribe is in trouble we have to go."
Her eyes filled with love and she touched his nose, "Let's go, I still love you!"
"I do to, my dear." He led her out.
