Ezekiel just chuckled and walked towards the infirmary. "So, where did you get your swordsmanship training from?" He asked Alys casually. "That was pretty good."

"When I was a kid, my friends and I would play at sword fighting. I got pretty good. I mean, I was nine at the time, but I kept up practicing in the asylum for something to do. When I wasn't trying to strangle disembodied voices, that is. Plus I payed attention to Angelos." Alys tugged on a lock of her hair.

Maddie grabbed a helmet, fumbling with the latch for a second before getting it on correctly. She cautiously climbed on behind Beatrix.

"Here we go." muttered Beatrix. The vespa sped off for about the billionth time.
