"Spirits In Living's Earth Need Careful Extermination." Beatrix recited, "Dunno what idiot thought that up."

"What do you mean?" Maddy asked, confused.

"We kill the ghosts and poltergeists - you know them as the voices or the whispers or some such name probably."

"Are you just messing with me?" Maddie said suspicously. She hadn't heard of anything so crazy since- never, actually. She eyed Beatrix, sizing her up.

Beatrix sighed, "I've had a long day, running back and forth between here and SILENCE - well, not technically running - but could you make this easy? Okay… Hear him? The guy who sounds like he's been gargling acid? Talking about how his brother killed him?"

Alys gave a small yelp as the blade grazed her arm. She pivoted and lunged at him.

(I'll be honest: I try not to burst out laughing when I read it. But it's WAY better than anything I could come up with!)

"AAHH! SORRY!" Ezekiel shouted as the sword hit her arm. He had only a split second to think as her sword flashed and shot towards him. He leaned back; trying to fall fast enough to avoid the blade. Not fast enough.
