White around the chicken eyes and face

I posted 2 photos of this weird white growing around my chickens' eyes. 2 others died with same. Anyone know what this is? I don't want to lose any more.

Looks like favus which is fungal. I’ve never dealt with it though so hopefully someone will be along to help.

Check them for lice and or mites NOW.

A white face means there is not enough blood, so somthing is taking the blood. Prob parasites.

Two things could be possible. It could be scaly face mites or favus, a fungus. Scaly face mites are treated with ivermectin pour-on 0.1 ml per every 2 pounds of weight given on the back of the neck over the spine. Vaseline can be applied over the white areas. Favus can be treated with topical antifungal cream, such as miconazole (monistat) or clotrimazole (lotrimin.)

Lice or mites???? No way. I thought the same thing as you! On our way to get the anti fungal cream now. Thanks a million.
