White Ayam Cemani Chick?¿?

I wonder if this is because by this point, pure Ayam cemanis are getting really inbred. With import bans and what was already a small foundation stock, I could see this happening from inbreeding like it does with white Lion, Tigers and Servals.

Hi, I am new here ,I just had that happen all white with a couple of little tiny dots on forhead I would like to learn more as well

out of curiosity were these eggs bought off ebay? this is where the individual i spoke of often sells hers on there and as i said ...and considering the cost of the birds and what shes done with other rare breeds i wouldnt be exactly surprised if she snuck some crosses in

It seems a little strange that exactly 1 non-ayam egg would show up in the batch. I'd be more inclined to think it's leucism or something of the sort, which can happen in any animals but is more common in inbred ones. If you have an animal that should be a color other than white, but it's white, it's very commonly because of leucism.

I got 1 sebright egg in my order of 15+ d'Uccles.

you can get one white ...and just because they are black doesnt make them pure cemani =/ i bred a red pyle to a wheaten hen 12 eggs only 1 red pyle chick sometimes thats how it works out wouldnt expect a cross to be insanely different

I agree.

I stand by my above statement that this is likely a result of inbreeding.

This chick is actually a very rare kind of ayam cemani, they are called Putih Ayam Cemani. They are the same thing as an ayam cemani only with white feathers. They are extremely rare. There is also another kind of ayam cemeni that is frizzed, it is called the Walik Ayam Cemani. When the white chick is crossed with blacks, the white will not be diluted and there would be no leakage. They birds would just be split to white. And when two birds split to white are crossed or two white birds are crossed then they can result in more chicks. They are extremely rare and there are virtually none in the US.

I just hatched a chick like this. But it has white feet. This is the only place on the internet I have found with any sort of information. I am interested in learning more about Putih Ayam Cemani in order to ascertain whether my chick would be classified as that or leucistic. Thank you in advance for any assistance. Pictures attached include the white and black from the same clutch.

That chick is not an Ayam Cemani.
