Thanks..... he is definately the centrepeice!!! So now he is displaying does this mean the hens will lay soon? Never bred peafowl so i'm excited.

It's heading into spring for you guys in Oz, right? That should mean the beginning of your breeding season (in the US, our season is just ending). Hopefully you will see eggs soon!

You should see them mate occasionally, but it's a quick affair really. We see eggs toward april/may, which is the end of spring here, and there are some still laying now.
