Bumps On Cockerel Comb

This bud is almost ten weeks old. I’ve noticed these whitish bumps on his comb. I know you can tell a lot about a chicken based on their comb. I dabbed a little cotton ball with ACV onto it. Anyone have an idea of what it is? He barely seems to notice it’s there.

Looks like it might be fowl pox. They usually start out like this, light colored and a bit blistery looking, and then they will turn darker, dry up and scab. It's usually from mosquitos. Dry pox usually runs it's course with no issues, wet pox (lesions in the mouth and throat) can be more serious. Keeping feeders and waterers clean can help prevent the spread. Once infected birds recover, they will have some resistance, and should not get the pox again. The scabs can spread the virus, so best to leave them alone. Putting window screen over all your coop openings will help keep the mosquitos out of the coop, they are more likely to be bitten while stationary and roosting. You can put a square of screen over the door attached at the top, cut in strips hanging down, chickens can still go in and out, mosquitos will be kept out.
