White chalky comb- any ideas?

Any ideas what is wrong or how to help her comb?

It might be extremely dry skin, but it could be favus, a fungal infection that causes chaulky white skin on the face, cob, and wattles. It can be treated with miconazole or clotrimazole antifungal creams. If you feel like it is dry skin, try some coconut oil or vaseline. Is she older? She appears pale, so I would check her skin for lice or mites.
