White chunks in egg yolk?

My mother in law cracked some eggs in a bowl and she said they looked normal until she stirred them and these white chunks showed up. These eggs are all from the same hen and all less than 10 days laid. Any ideas? She said the yolk was thick.

Eggs can have different textures and junk in them. Store eggs have made us all believe eggs are all the same shape size and have perfect content. Sometimes breaking home raised eggs is like a lottery. Sometimes they are perfect, sometimes they turn your stomach. Always cook well, and pick out the junk.
