If this is another Roo (have an exchequer leghorn roo and a couple of Wyandottes I am watching) then Meyer really missed the boat on my “pullet” orders. 🤦‍♀️

This Cochin feathered out very quickly, the pinkish red has showed up this week. Cockerel?

okay! Even with the reddening comb and wattles this early? Do Cochins just develop combs/wattles faster than other breeds, maybe?
Pullets can flush. The comb and wattles are quite small still.

Are they always that red now? If so, at 5.5 weeks, a LF Cochin cockerel could be starting to hit a comb maturity spurt.
