White Cochin (hen or roo)?

Really? Mine always showed within a month and a half who was male. Or do you mean the breeding and crowing take longer?
They're pretty commonly known to be slow to mature, similar to other large breeds. Breeding, crowing, feathering, and other sex traits are just typically slower. Some lines may be quicker than others however :)

This is Winter my White cochin. She was born August 10th and is 20 weeks old. I bought her from a online hatchery as a female, but of course she crowed. I sent the hatchery a picture and they said winter is a rooster, I may just be crazy, but I don't believe it. I do have a frizzle rooster, but Ms. Winter is the head hen. She is a 6 pound chicken. She does have long hackle feather, but she is VERY quiet. Is Winter a hen or rooster?
ROO.
That’s a clear roo if I ever saw one...why don’t you believe them?
Agreed.
My other rooster is the little black and brown frizzle. He is only 2 pounds!
It is not neccssarilly size that matters, he is more matue am I right.

All in all, roo for sure but a gentle one hopefully.
